History

The Uchihas were the model family in their community; Mikoto and Fugaku Uchiha had the perfect house in the perfect neighborhood with two perfect children. At least that’s what it looked like in the eyes of someone on the outside. In truth the Uchihas were anything other than the perfect family, but they made sure to keep their pristine mask in place when it came to anything outside of their home.

As a young child Sasuke always knew that he had expectations to live up to. Such things like being top of his class were some of the simplest things his parents expected of him. And Sasuke made sure he did everything in his power to meet every last expectation and request that was asked of him, but the young child was never seen for his achievements and efforts. Of course not. His grades were never good enough. His manners were never perfect. His determination was never strong enough.

But how could they be when you lived in the shadow of a prodigy? The perfect brother.

Many would expect the young Uchiha to hate his older brother out of jealousy, to blame him for his hardships. But Sasuke saw his brother in a different way, if anything Itachi was the only person that kept him striving to become what his parents wanted. With Itachi, Sasuke didn’t have to worry about being judged or about not being perfect, because he knew that he was always good enough in his brother’s eyes. Itachi was God to his little brother, he could do no wrong. He was perfect.

One could only imagine how hard it was for the young Uchiha when this vision came shattering down upon him. He didn’t want to believe what the counselors told him. They were liars. Itachi could never do what they were accusing him of.

How could a God murder his own parents? Perfect people didn’t commit crimes. They couldn’t; they were perfect.

But when days began to pass with no sign of raven hair to take him home Sasuke slowly began to question the story he was told. It was only when the counselors began to talk to him about foster families did the boy come to believe it. It was at the young age of eight that Sasuke first started to carry the cold emotion of hate for his once-known-God.

How could his brother do that to their mother and father? How could he do this to him? How could he leave and not say anything? How could he let this happen to his little brother? Did he not care? Had he been lying for all those years? Sasuke decided that he would one day find out the answers to his questions one day. On that day he would make sure to show his brother just how much hate he bore for him.

It was only two weeks after the murder that Sasuke was placed with his first foster family. They were a kind couple, but had problems having children of their own. They doted on the young Uchiha while he stayed with them; something that Sasuke never got used to. He remained with the kind young couple until he was around the age of ten. It was at this age that they started questioning adoption, but that was before the wife became pregnant. Even during her pregnancy they still talked about adopting Sasuke, but that all quickly changed when the baby was born. Suddenly they didn’t want Sasuke. He wasn’t ‘their’ child. They had their ‘own’ child now.

It didn’t take the system too long to place him with another foster family. This family had been just as equally kind, but carried jobs that kept them very busy. Sasuke didn’t mind it though, he always felt more comfortable when he was alone. Much to his dismay Sasuke very rarely got to stay home alone, more than often he was sent to the next door neighbor’s house to be baby-sated. He hated that house. But every time his foster family would ask why Sasuke wouldn’t answer. He didn’t know how to explain the things that happened in that house, not at that age. He was too young to understand anything about sex.

Lucky for Sasuke, he only remained at that house for two years before the family decided that they didn’t want to care for a teenager. Once again, he was placed into another home with another ‘loving’ family. Oddly enough, it was the third family that he felt most comfortable with. With a caring mother and a strict, stern father Sasuke felt as if he were looking at his real parents in different bodies. The couple must’ve felt some sort of connection to the teenager as well, seeing that this was the house that he remained at for the longest.

During his stay with this family, Sasuke found that his life had fallen into a quiet and comfortable routine. Wake up, go to school, come home, do homework, read some if he wanted, help his ‘mother’ with dinner, have it ready for his ‘father’ when he got home, eat dinner, watch some T.V, take a shower, got to bed. And repeat. He enjoyed the routine and if anything he clung to it, scared that he might lose this comfortable life again. And just when he thought that this was going to be the life he lived until he was of age, it took a turn.

The raven-haired boy was fifteen when his ‘mother’ became ill with lung cancer. It had been hard in the beginning, but he learned to accept her death just as he had with his real mother’s death. It was his ‘father’ that had been the worst accepting the loss. Sasuke kept his distance and tried to keep his routine, but his attempts to keep his peaceful life were futile. During the year after his ‘mother’s’ death his ‘father’ became bitter and violent, sometimes getting angry enough to throw things at the raven. Sasuke tried to convinve himself that it would pass, that this was just a phase for the older man. But he was sadly mistaken. As the year went on, the man became more and more physical with Sasuke, blaming him for his wife’s death. The simplest things would set him off, things like a dish in the sink or dust on the Television. Being the stubborn kind of person he was, Sasuke refused to tell anyone and hid any marks that his ‘father’ might have left on him with jackets or make up.

It was a week after his sixteenth birthday that Sasuke had been called into the kitchen. The boy only guessed it was the dishes, but was met with something comepletely different when he entered. The moment he stepped onto the clean, white, tile floor Sasuke was grabbed and slammed into the cherry and granite island in the middle of the kitchen. He hardly even got to mutter a single word before the older man’s fist laid it’s self into his rib cage. A second later another landed in his gut. On instinct the boy hunched over and held his surely bruised mid-section. But the man would have none of that. Grabbing the raven by his hair he through him into the next nearest counter, its appliances and knife block falling to the ground in a scattered mess.

Sasuke knew better than to fight back against the man, but when his boot began to embed it’s self into his body, the teenage knew he had to something to make this stop. On ground, Sasuke quickly curled up in an attempt to protect his already injured ribs. He could faintly hear the older male yelling curses at him as he continued to kick and stomp any part of the pale body he could reach. Sasuke was forced to look up when the rough boot collided with his head, but it was then that his eye caught something glinting in the light he instinctively reached for it.

Sasuke couldn’t remember the details of what happened next. Only that the once clean, white, tiles were now stained with a dark red liquid.

The police were against the raven deeming him uncontrolled and a danger to society. They wanted to put him behind bars for his actions, but the system managed to get him a deal, or at least that’s what they thought it was. Renegade Academy, they told him, it was his only choice. He would remain there until he finished his education.

Sasuke knew that this school was completely new beginning for him. There was no light at the end of the tunnel, that was for sure.

Personality

Sasuke is a withdrawn person with a dark past and a fair out look on his future. He's not the kind of person to start a conversation, if anything; he's the one who ends them. The raven avoids crowds or any place that is considered loud. He tends ignore people whom he deems annoying or not worth his time, which is most to almost everyone. It’s very rare for the dark haired boy to find an attraction in anyone; thanks to his past he has a hard time trusting anyone with those emotions. If Sasuke does ever develop these feelings for anyone it would be strictly based off of their personality and how they act around; looks mean nothing to him.

With that said Sasuke knows that people see him as handsome or attractive, but doesn't see any importance in it. How will good looks ever help him exact his revenge?

Sasuke is usually calm and well collected and it's rare for him to lose his temper quickly. But annoyance is something that Sasuke seems to be constantly cursed by. This curse is usually brought on mostly by girls (and guys alike) who try to spark conversations with him.

To most people, Sasuke comes off of as insensitive, an asshole, and sometimes a prick, but none of this matters to him. Other's opinions serve no purpose to him.
